Meet Zac

I’m Zac de Vries, a two-term Saanich Councillor and a CRD Director, and I’m running to be the next Mayor of Saanich.

Serving our community has been the honour of my life. Over the past eight years, I’ve worked to move important priorities forward on housing, transportation, climate action, and building a more inclusive and livable Saanich.

I believe in practical leadership: listening, leading conversations, finding common ground, and focusing on results that make a difference in people’s daily lives.

The world is changing, and we need to meet the moment with creativity, courage, and collaboration.

Together we can build a better Saanich that is more affordable, more livable, and more sustainable.
